If you have a genital wart, can it go away on its own? Or do you have to get it removed? - 5/20/2010 - Genital Wart

I know that the virus presents itself when the immune system is weak, but not all the time. I also know that people have it, but if you take care of yourself it can go away (at least on the surface). Can a wart go away on its own, or does it always have to be removed?

Yes, it can. In fact, they usually do go away on their own. They often come back, though.
