Your doctor might advise you about using over the counter treatment for genital warts as not being a suitable way of getting rid of your warts. However, many individuals use these medications and say they do work.

Doctors advise against using these types of remedies, not because they are ineffective, but that the treatment might be risky. These medications contain chemicals and might cause you irritation, pain or damage to your genital area, if not used correctly

Dr. Scholl’s Wart Remover, Wart-Off, Compound W. And Freezone can be obtained from over the counter, these wart remedies which have a chemical called salicylic acid. Many individuals are allergic to this substance. Furthermore, it could be very unsafe for an individual who suffers from diabetes or AIDS.

It is a good idea to get some advice previously before you try some of these products when treating your genital warts. If you end up having any reaction, itchiness or reddishness on the skin after you have applied them, then speak to your doctor straight away.

The newest wart medication products on the marketplace employ natural compounds which help to boost your body’s immune structure from viruses and bacteria. Unlike salicylic acid, which may well destroy the warts and can also destroy the skin, these products fight warts positively, by serving your body’s natural processes that fights the disease which causes them in the first place.

These products are quite useful. It is reported nearly 50% of folks who try natural wellbeing products to deal with genital warts are triumphant.

The manufacturers of these products tell you why they are safe and successful, because they tend to work hand in hand with your body to organically remove the warts the way your body is supposed to. These can remain successful for fighting a varied range of skin conditions other than genital warts too.

These treatments are preferred by many patients, who do not want to endure the embarrassment of making constant trips to their doctor to receive treatment. Having genital warts is distressing and uncomfortable at the best of times.

If you would like additional information about doing away with your genital warts, a trustworthy source of up-to-date guide is NIAID, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. It is a subdivision of the National Institute of Health.

They investigate into learning more about diseases for the purpose of better prevention, diagnosis and treatment. They specialize in sexually transmitted diseases such as AIDS and HPV.

If you do decide to these remedies, let your doctor know that you are, and then they should make you aware of the risks involved and give you help with recommendations.

You should always follow your medications exactly according to the directions, that way you don’t cause the warts to become worse or cause unnecessary anguish or agony.

Can you use wart remover while pregnant?

Written by admin on Mar 7th, 2010 | Filed under: wart remover

In the last few monthes Ive found this odd tiny growth on my cuticale…it meets all the criteria of being a wart…ugh Ive never had them…but is the liquid or bandage wart remover ok to use in pregnancy?

1) call or go to your doctor!!
2) remember – HPV is not genetic, it’s usually passed by skin contact when the baby comes through the birth canal when the mother has an out break of genital warts. After that baby can have mouth or/and throat warts…
There are things that can be done to prevent genital warts from being passed on when the mother gives birth. Such as having a c-section if there is an out break at the time of delivery. So if you do not have any outbreaks – then no need to do c-section!
3) if you want to remove warts then you should know that you can remove genital warts by surgery, freezing, laser, acid or cream but genital warts can reappear again and again because genital warts appears when your immune system is weak!

HPV is the virus that causes genital warts. People can be infected with HPV and never show any symptoms. Others will develop genital warts. These warts can stay the same size, grow, or go away on their own. It largely depends on the infected person’s immune system. A healthy immune system means your body may be able to suppress the virus and not show symptoms.

Even after the warts go away, the person will always remain infected with HPV. That person can spread the virus even without showing symptoms.

so you must build up your immune system because your body can get rid of genital warts by itself if your immune system will be strong! so eat more healthy food, more vitamins and more sport activities! (No smoking, no beer/ale, no booze, no drugs, no junk food, no fast food garbage, no sugary sweet soda’s. Get on a good, balanced, healthy diet including plenty of boiled or steamed vegetables.
Drink P L E N T Y O F W A T E R , fruit juices & fat free milk. Snack on lots of RAW fruit & veggies. Get up one hour early every morning & take a BRISK 30 minute walk – then – do the same thing again in the evening after dinner. Make sure you eat a good, balanced breakfast daily. You get your energy for the day from your breakfast meal. Get 8 hours sleep each night. Flip your mattress over so it will level out to give you a good night’s rest. Slack off too much coffee & tea) also you must use herbal treatment!

in that case Wartrol is a good (probably the best) product that gets rid of genital warts comparatively fast and makes you feel more confident knowing that they wont reappear again! It works by stimulating your immune system to fight the HPV virus that causes the warts. of course it is better if you use full course (5 months – if I remember correctly).

It worked and still works for me!

I do not know if any pharmacies carry Wartrol but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here

good luck!

I left my liquid wart remover on over night, and it turned my skin white?

Written by admin on Mar 3rd, 2010 | Filed under: wart remover

I applied liquid wart remover on my hand on my wart and 3 other little ones that were just popping up. i fell asleep with it on and when i took it off in the morning the area of my skin that was around the 3 littles ones turn kind of white and and a little tough…. my question is is this bad or normal and will it go back to the regular color,

also how long should i keep the remover on for?

It’s supposed to turn white and rough… try taking en emery board to it, but don’t go overboard or you’ll break the skin. You only want to take off the dead skin on top. Do this every other day until the wart is completely gone, but continue with the wart remover.

Can you remove a scar with wart remover?

Written by admin on Feb 22nd, 2010 | Filed under: wart remover

I read that acetone can be effective on acne scars. I have a scar on my shoulder that is raised and about the size of a pencil eraser, and I wonder what would happen if I put a wart remover pad on it. Is that just crazy

I don’t think you can remove a scar!

Wart remover..?

Ok soo…Does that Wartner Freeze Off stuff really work??

No Use duct tape. It sounds stupid but I swear it works. Wash the wart with soap and water, then put the duct tape on it. Put a piece just big enough to cover the wart on it, then cover it with a band aid just to hide it. Rotate 9 hours on, 3 hours off around the clock. It should be gone in a week.

How do you get liquid wart remover off?

Written by admin on Feb 16th, 2010 | Filed under: wart remover

I usually put the stuff on before I go to bed and it is all white and hard when I wake up. My question is do I leave it on and just reapply the wart remover on top the next night or do I scrub it off in the morning? I scrubbed it off the past 2 days and the skin around the wart is irritated and broken.

It’s really difficult to judge how much to scrub. You should be filing the skin down every day before applying the wart paint using something like an emery board or sandpaper, and then apply the paint. The trick is to file it almost until the skin bleeds but try not to make it bleed. I used to wash it off the next morning, gently rub it and the white residue should come off, shouldn’t need to scrub much.

You should also be careful only to apply the paint to the wart itself, not to the skin around as this will get burned by the acid. The best thing is to also get some professional cryotherapy or electro cautery done at the same time as using the liquid remover at home.
